Recently, the “Key Safety Technologies for Long and Large Marshalling Heavy-haul Freight Cars Based on Multi-Dimensional Comprehensive Experimental Big Data Analysis” project developed by Railway Equipment received a certificate for selection in the Top 100 International Technology Trade Innovation Projects from the ZGC International Technology Trade Fair, marking it the first innovation achievement from China Shenhua’s transportation sector to be included in the list.
The Top 100 International Technology Trade Innovation Projects focuses on “international technology trade cooperation”, selecting high-quality innovative technology projects that can be transformed, transferred, traded and implemented on a global scale. By leveraging the Company’s integrated operational advantages and the technical strengths of Railway Equipment as China’s largest specialized management company for self-owned railway freight cars, this selected innovation outcome utilizes “multi-dimensional comprehensive experimental big data analysis technology” as its core, and incorporates large comprehensive experimental data from multiple formations of heavy-haul freight trains to establish a dynamic monitoring and intelligent analysis system. Through the innovative development of the first set of key equipment, including dynamic brake shoe pressure monitoring device, wheel-rail force loading saddle/rubber pad testing device for braking conditions, three-dimensional coupler force coupling monitoring device, and real-time temperature monitoring device for on-board brake shoes, the project has developed a multi-dimensional experimental data platform, a comprehensive analysis platform, and a train simulation analysis platform, which forms a comprehensive safety monitoring and evaluation system covering braking force, coupler force, and wheel-rail force, enabling real-time monitoring of heavy-haul train operating conditions and intelligent fault diagnosis.
This technological achievement marks a significant breakthrough for Railway Equipment in the new field of safety technology for heavy-haul railway vehicles, which promotes optimized train operation strategies, reduces longitudinal impulse, improves braking system standards for heavy-haul freight cars to enhance the safety level of heavy-haul train operations.
