As of December 2, Zhunneng Group has cumulatively removed 310.729 million cubic meters of overburden this year, achieving 100.24% of the annual plan and surpassing the full-year target ahead of schedule. This provides a solid foundation for successfully concluding the year’s operations.

Throughout the year, the Group has dedicated its efforts to stabilizing production, increasing efficiency, and promoting development. In terms of production organization, the Heidaigou Open-pit Mine and Haerwusu Open-pit Mine implemented precise measures and optimized mining plans. They actively overcame adverse factors such as land constraints and extreme weather by leveraging digital means to strengthen on-site dispatch and command, maximizing equipment availability and effective operational hours. Specifically, Heidaigou Open-pit Mine focused on key removal operations across the northern benches at the 1800-meter level, creating working space for drills in the North 7 and North 8 cast blasting areas to ensure subsequent cast blasting progresses as planned. Haerwusu Open-Pit Mine innovatively applied a “dual-safeguard detection method” and a “three-tier differentiated drilling” model. It established a comprehensive detection network through a “drill-one-hole-skip-the-next-three” pattern and conducted stratified detection based on geological conditions to precisely avoid goaf risks, accelerating overburden removal during favorable weather windows. To ensure smooth production continuity, both mines coordinated in advance with the coal preparation plant to confirm the start-up time of the crushing station, synchronized the commissioning of excavation and haulage equipment, and extended effective operating hours. They promptly engaged the Equipment Maintenance Center to repair faulty equipment while deploying standby units to replace those with extended downtime, ensuring operational efficiency remained unaffected.

Regarding safety production, the Group strictly adhered to safety red lines and fundamental principles. It continuously improved its safety management system, comprehensively revised safety regulations and implementation rules, deepened the application of the digitalized safety production management platform, and deployed mobile cameras for high-risk operations to achieve closed-loop hazard management. Simultaneously, it conducted hazard identification and risk assessments, strengthened on-site safety management through slope and highwall monitoring, control of high-risk tasks, and vetting of contractor access mechanisms. This established a multi-dimensional “human + technical” prevention and control network, comprehensively elevating the safety standards of its open-pit mines.
